Satisfy your sweet tooth at the 8th annual Yukon Chocolate Festival – Affair Extraordinaire.  Slated for Saturday, February 4, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., the event is a joint venture between Yukon Parks and Recreation and the Ladies Library Club.

This indulgent festival hosts over 20 chocolate booths, a silent auction, and awards for best tasting chocolate and best booth décor!  Tickets are only $15 each and include 10 treat samples per ticket.  Area businesses and organizations offer their favorite chocolate delicacies to those attending.

The festival takes place at the Dale Robertson Center, located at the corner of Highway 66 and Yukon Parkway (1200 Lakeshore Dr.).  If you are interested in hosting a booth and offering chocolate tastes, contact Becky Campbell with Yukon Parks and Recreation, 405-350-8937, or Sara Schieman of the Mabel C. You can indulge in delicious desserts and feel great about it, because the proceeds go to better the community. All proceeds from the festival benefit local parks, projects, events, and the Mabel C. Fry Public Library.
