ABOUT PBADD
The Permian Basin Association of Directional Drilling (PBADD) is a nonprofit organization created by oil and gas industry professionals for oil and gas industry professionals. The PBADD provides an avenue or platform for the exchange of industry specific knowledge and new ideas that aid in the advancement of the directional drilling industry.

ABOUT BASIN BURNOUT

The Permian Basin Association of Directional Drilling’s (PBADD) annual Basin Burnout BBQ Cook-off & Music Festival is a fundraising event that allows a part of the oil and gas industry to give back to the Permian Basin community as well as raise money and awareness for U.S. military veterans. In years past, 30+ BBQ cooking teams (primarily of oilfield related service companies along with public and private energy firms), compete in an unsanctioned BBQ cooking competition. All teams compete in multiple categories (brisket, steak, ribs, chicken, etc.) for a chance to call themselves the best in the Basin and take home the coveted Championship belt. This spirited competition also includes a “Fan Favorite” award voted on by over 3,500 attendees.
