8 a.m: Liberty Sprint - Mitch Park
Join us at Mitch Park for a brand new Liberty Fest event as part of Edmond's Fourth of July Festival week! The Liberty Sprint 5K benefits the Edmond Veterans Memorial project planned for Bickham-Rudkin Park. Enjoy a great opportunity to celebrate the holiday with friends and family while supporting this great community initiative!
The event is a 5K, (3.1 Mile), Run/Walk or 1 Mile Fun Run on the gently rolling recreation trails at Mitch Park. This activity is great for the whole family from strollers to grandparents, and dog-friendly for well-socialized pups on a leash. For additional fun, participate in our costume contest! We'll have a special prize for the most spirited presentation.
The event will support the Edmond Veterans Memorial Advisory Committee and its mission to create the Edmond Veterans Memorial at Bickham-Rudkin Park.
July 4, 2024
9 am: Oklahoma's Patriotic Parade - Downtown Edmond
9:30 p.m. - Fireworks
You will want to bring a blanket or lawn chair; sit back and enjoy the fireworks.
Many churches open up their parking lots at 7 p.m. and seating is allowed. The best viewing is often south of Hafer Park to avoid smoke from the fireworks.
You will love the Grand Finale of our Festival! It’s the largest fireworks display in the metro area. Bring your entire family to witness the spectacular fireworks show provided by ARC Pyrotechnics.
Location: E. C. Hafer Park – 1034 S. Bryant
