3rd Annual Family Freedom Festival

Arts and Entertainment

May 30, 2025

From: Family Freedom Festival

This annual event is a celebration of community and support for our veterans and their families. Last year, with the help of generous vendors and community members, we raised $10,000 to benefit the Butler VA Arts and Homeless programs, Colonial Gardens Guest House for Men, and Guitars for Veterans - Butler County.

We are honored to welcome several distinguished guests as keynote speakers for the opening ceremonies of our 3rd Annual Family Freedom Festival at VFW Harmony-Evans City Post 499. VFW State PA Commander Barbara Loncar and VFW State PA President Andrea Meintel will join us for this special occasion, bringing their leadership, dedication, and passion for supporting veterans and their families. Their presence underscores the importance of our mission to honor and assist those who have served our country.

We are also pleased to welcome State Senator Stephanie Scialabba and representatives from the Butler County Commissioners, whose support for local veterans and community initiatives adds great meaning to this day.

Adding to the significance of our opening ceremonies, the Pine-Richland JROTC will present the colors and lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance, providing a moving tribute to the day. We are proud to have Amber Peters singing the National Anthem, setting a patriotic tone for the festival.

Additionally, we welcome District 25 Commander Brian Peters and Auxiliary President Rose Aven Hasulak, who will also take part in this meaningful event.

Join us as we kick off the festival with inspiring words from these incredible leaders, setting the stage for a day of celebration, remembrance, and community.
