The Irish Pub Quiz
You think you’re pretty smart, don't you? You probably hang around with smart people, too! If so, you have to join us for our Pub Quiz Trivia Night — in person at Abe & Jake's Landing. It's an evening of games that will test your knowledge of Ireland, Lawrence KS, current events and so much more! Of course, we will have prizes for the winners.

Time: Doors open at 5 p.m., questions start at 6 p.m.

Cost: $200 for a table of 8, $150 for a table of 6, $25 for individual or additional players.

Pool Tournament
Join us for a fun time playing pool. Max handicap of 10 using APA 8 ball. If you do not play APA, then you are a 7.

Format: We will be playing Irish (Scotch) Doubles, alternating eight ball and nine ball racks. APA rules. You can push and use jump cues. NO 3 foul rule. Race to 4 on the winner and loser's side. If the field is over 32, we will race to 3 on the loser's side.

Registration at 10 a.m.
Calcutta at 10:30 a.m.
Play starts at 11 a.m.

9 a.m. - 35th Annual Shamrock Shuffle 5K and 10K

Join us for a great day of running. We feature both a 5K and a 10K course – it's one of the few 10K races in the area. The race starts at Johnny's and travels along the river levee and into North Lawrence. Afterwards, stick around for an Irish breakfast and pancake feed. We have prizes for numerous age categories. Everyone gets a participation metal and shirt, both live and virtual participants. We also encourage you to dress in your favorite St. Patrick's Day garb to get ready for our biggest event of the year.

Charity Auction
We are so excited again to host our 2025 Charity Auction! Join us for an evening of food, fun, and fundraising for our three beneficiaries, all focused on supporting children in Douglas County.

5 p.m. - St. Patrick's Day Royal Candidates and Coronation

Each year the Parade Committee selects a Queen or King to be a special representative in the pageantry of the Lawrence St. Patrick's Day Parade. Our other candidates also participate in the parade as part of the Royal Court. Choosing only one of these candidates is a difficult task and in no way diminishes the efforts of any of the others or the pride that all we feel in their achievements.

This is the evening that we honor them for the hard work they completed during the parade season. It's an evening of celebration and thanks to our candidates – and it's the only event of the year that they don't help run. Join us to celebrate this special group.

Join Us in beautiful Downtown Lawrence as we celebrate a bit o' the green with our 38th annual Lawrence St. Patrick’s Day Parade!

12 noon - IRISH ROAD BOWLING
Teams of four compete to get a "bowl" (a metal cannonball) around a 1-mile course at Clinton Lake in as few tosses as possible. All proceeds are donated to beneficiaries of the Lawrence St. Patrick's Day Parade. The suggested donation for each 4-person team is $160. Prizes will be awarded and the winning team bowls free next year. The minimum age to bowl is 21. Each team will receive their own bowl (cannonball) to use for the event (please return the bowl when you finish the course). You must have a spotter for your bowl!

Cost: $160 per team, paid online
