Kick off the holiday season and Downtown in December at the 22nd annual Oklahoma City Tree Lighting Festival presented by Heartland! One of the season’s most anticipated events, the festival will take place in Bricktown on Thursday, November 16th, 2023, from 5:30-7:30pm on the Mickey Mantle Plaza of the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

The festival, which is free and open to everyone, will include family-friendly activities such as photos with Santa Claus, face painting, caricatures, a Magic Elf, and more. Bring your kiddos to the Letters to Santa station sponsored by OG&E where they can write and place their letters to Santa in our North Pole mailbox, as well as decorate downtown-themed holiday postcards to take home or mail. The main attraction of the evening will be a showcase of diverse holiday performances leading up to and following the countdown to the lighting of the Christmas tree by David Holt.

The Bricktown Christmas Tree presented by Painted Door Gift Boutique will be lit at approximately 7:00pm and will be on display through Christmas Day. Additional support for the Bricktown Christmas Tree provided by Bank of Oklahoma and Lopez Foods.
