This Free Family Concert features the enchanting musical tales of Babar the Elephant, Ferdinand the Bull, and Star Wars. This delightful afternoon concert will be performed by pianist Julie Coucheron along with fellow pianist William Ransom and violinist Helen Hwaya Kim, and narrated by Atlanta’s WABE radio host, Lois Reitzes. Atlanta’s premier chamber music group performs a delightful afternoon program with music by Johannes Brahms, Ludvig van Beethoven, and Antonin Dvorak. Georgian Chamber Players was founded in 1984 and consists of all of the principal players of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra led by concertmaster David Coucheron. Principal violist of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Zhenwei Shi, and concert pianist Julie Coucheron will also perform. Free reception to follow, open to all ticket holders.
