11th Annual Bull City Race Fest

This festival has something for the fastest runners and families alike. Choose from the Half Marathon or 5 Miler distance.

Enjoy a fall morning of running through downtown Durham and the surrounding historic neighborhoods. The Bull City Race Fest is a world-class running experience in the world class city of Durham!

The Bull City Race Fest & Food Truck Rodeo is the culmination of a world-class running experience and a world-class eating experience all in a world-class city!

-Food Truck Rodeo like only Durham can offer

The weekend kicks off with the expo and packet pick-up in downtown Durham. Explore all the  local restaurants showcasing why Durham is foodie heaven.

With differing distances on race day, you are welcome to race, go for distance, or run with family and friends. Each distance has something unique to offer. The half-marathon showcases downtown, Trinity Park and Duke's campus. All races start next to the American Tobacco Campus with a post-race festival on the lawn at the Diamond View Park on the American Tobacco Campus. There will be food trucks, a beer garden, a kids' zone and entertainment.

Half Marathon

Start Time: 7:30am

Location: 318 Blackwell St., Durham, NC 27701

Route: The Half Marathon course is spectacular! Starting on Blackwell Street at the American Tobacco Campus, runners will begin with a loop through beautiful Downtown Durham and then head over to the quiet streets of the Trinity Park neighborhood. Next, they’ll run through the well-known 9th Street shopping/dining district and then through Duke University’s beautiful East Campus. Next, they’ll run downhill to Duke’s West Campus via gorgeous Campus Drive, into the Duke Forest neighborhood and over to Forest Hills. Finally, the-finish line awaits back at American Tobacco Campus on Blackwell street next to the Durham Performing Arts Center.

5 Mile Run

Start Time: 8:00am

Location: 318 Blackwell St., Durham, NC 27701

Route: Runners will join the Half Marathon runners for a loop of the downtown district then over to Trinity Park neighborhood where they split from the Half Marathon and take Buchanan Blvd back to Main Street and then run back downtown to the finish line at the American Tobacco Campus!
