We are doing old school manual timing so PLEASE wear your bib on the front our shirt. We will be recording your loops as you come into the start/finish area.

We are central time same Chicago so please keep that in mind for those on Eastern Time Zone. Start time is 8:00 am and packet pick-up begins at 7:15 am.

We will be a Grove Shelter that is only shelter located in the park and it is outdoor. We will be using the Multi-use trails west of the shelter.

WE WILL HAVE A 4 HOUR AND 30 MINUTE CUT-OFF FOR THE RACE

Course is 3 loops around the park. Most of the course is single track dirt trails with switchbacks and tree roots. The course would be marked with flags, arrow signs and survey tape on trees. PLEASE follow the markings NOT the runner in front of you.

One aid station will be provided at the shelter with water, Gatorade, Honey Stinger Waffles, gels and other pre-package snacks. You will be near your cars and bathrooms each loop so if there is certain aid you need you can get it then. We will have a picnic table set up if you like to leave items there for each loop. There is no aid on the course.

No awards ceremony if you win overall winners will receive Ice Spikes, Yeti figure and Starbucks gift card. ALL people that finish the race will be able to pick an item from the “prize table”. Items include old race shirts, mugs and hats.

The purpose Crazy Legs Race Series (CLRS) is to promote non-pavement/pavement races in the Northwest Indiana region through the development and management of new and existing races. At all our events you will experience fun and challenging course design in a low-key atmosphere. Races will be held in parks or areas in the Lake, Porter and Laporte counties.

The Crazy Legs Race Series welcomes and encourages participation in our events by all individuals regardless of their sexual orientation, biological sex, gender identity, or gender expression. Transgender runners may register as the gender they identify with and there is no documentation needed.

The Crazy Legs Race Series would like to begin by acknowledging that the land on which we host our races is the seized territory of the Miami, Shawnee, and Illinois Nations. Refugees from other nations also resided in the area we use, including the Lenape (Delaware). We honor those who have stewarded this land throughout the generations.
