This film showcases a diverse array of award winning performances, that pay homage to Black History, Excellence and this journey we call Life while delivering Powerful messages through award winning Spoken Word Poetry, from three time Emmy award winner Boris "Bluz" Rogers, Charlotte Poet Laureate Junious "Jay" Ward, North Carolina A and T Poet Laureate Essence Connor Barringer, the former head of poetry for the Raleigh Film and Poetry Festival DS Will, and award winning poet Linda Orji; Song from Tawanna Hughes; African dance from Moving Sprits Inc., Urban Ballroom dance from Robert Fitzgerald of Dancing with Champagne and his partner Tiffany Jaye, Jazz from Saxophonist ***** Adams, Conscious Rap by Mason "Quill" Parker, Visual Artistry by Aisha Thomas, Storytelling, Curation, and Hosting by Dionne D. Hunter and Co-Host Laheelah Hunter.
