The Ravinia District of Highland Park invites community members to its annual Halloween Candy Stroll on Friday, October 25, from 3:30-5 PM. Trick-or-treaters will collect candy from participating businesses while strolling the streets and enjoying the festive fall décor installed throughout the District. Participants can pick up a FREE trick-or-treat bag (courtesy of Gilbert Orthodontics) in Jens Jensen Park, where there will be goodies, Halloween music, and more.

Candy strollers will appreciate fun selfie opportunities in front of pumpkins decorated by Ravinia District businesses as well as the giant pumpkins located in Jens Jensen Park. Additionally, Jeff Cohen Photography will offer free Halloween photo shoots at his studio (485 Roger Williams Avenue) during stroll hours.

Participants will also have a chance to win a $100 gift card to their favorite Ravinia District business during the stroll. All you have to do is correctly guess the weight of the giant pumpkin! Stop by the Arbor Terrace booth, located by the giant pumpkin in Jens Jensen Park, and fill out a contest submission form. The winner will be notified on Monday, October 28.

Participating businesses include Abigail’s, BWB Shakes, Dana Reed Designs, Fitness Plus, Field Violin Workshop, Happi Sushi, Jeff Cohen Photography, Maddie’s Market, Mil Colibris, Piero’s Pizza, PT Squared, Ravinia Barber Shop, Ravinia Books, Antiques, Etc., Ravinia Brewing Company, Smoler Law, Palminteri State Farm Insurance, Taylor Reese, The Chunky Scone, Uncommon Fitness, Viaggio, Vintage Rescue, Yana’s Barber Shop, and Zolboo Skin Care.
