Commemorate the courage and sacrifice of Purple Heart awardees and their families. Hear from special guest speakers about what can be done to protect and empower our nation’s heroes.

Purple Heart Day is an observance that commemorates the creation of the Purple Heart Medal in 1782. The purple heart medal is awarded to those who were wounded or killed while serving in the US military.

The Citizens Commission on Human Rights of Florida (CCHR) is a non-profit, non-political, non-religious mental health watchdog organization dedicated to the restoration of human rights in the mental health industry.
