Celebrating Puccini with The Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey

Commemorating the 100-year anniversary of famed composer Giacomo Puccini's death and the premiere of his last opera, The Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey presents a special concert that celebrates his work, featuring guest operatic singers Theresa Carlomagno and Timothy Maureen Cole. Hear some of the most beloved arias from the most famous operas ever written, such as La Boheme, Turandot, and La Rondine.

The concert will also feature Symphony #2 by Johannes Brahms. Filled with melodic beauty and energy, this symphony has been a favorite with audiences and musicians since its premiere in 1877. While the orchestra has performed other works by the great late Romantic composer, this will be their first interpretation of one of his symphonies.

About the Guest Singers

Theresa Carlomagno has sung with the orchestra on several occasions as soloist and in leading roles. In 2023, she made her debuts at The Arena in Verona, Italy, and at Athens Opera in Greece.
