Welcoming a new pet into your home is exciting! Along with all the excitement, comes the many responsibilities of pet ownership. Knowing what to expect when adding a pet to your family will help set you up for success. Learn the ins and outs of pet ownership, review what you already know about pets and build upon your knowledge to better understand what pets need to thrive in their environment. Dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and birds will be the focus of this interactive program. Participants will learn about pets’ basic needs, costs associated with pet ownership and how to determine which pet is right for their family. Ages 8-12.
