Better Together, a nonprofit dedicated to families and children, is hosting a Christmas-themed celebration for Ocala-area families on Sunday, Dec. 15 from 12:30 to 3 p.m.

Better Together organizes programs at various locations to bring parents together for community, to support each other, and often hear from expert speakers. The celebration will provide background-checked volunteers in addition to lunch, games and fun for children while parents attend the event. In December, both parents and children can enjoy holiday fun with a Polar Express theme, including Christmas crafts and food provided by local vendors. Every child who attends will also receive a Christmas gift.

The Dec. 15 event will take place at Appleton Museum of Art, located at 4333 E. Silver Springs Blvd. in Ocala. There is no cost to attend. To register, visit BetterTogetherUS.org/ChristmasGathering or call 239-470-2733.
