10am, 12pm, & 2pm: Beautiful Beach Trail Rides at Newport Equestrian Academy, 287 Third Beach Rd. Just 10 mins from Newport!

We offer beautiful 2hr beach trail rides, a scenic trail ride with a castle up on the Hill, it looks like you're in Ireland with breathtaking Coastal views. Inexperienced riders are welcome. We do give you instruction before you go out.

10am-4pm: Newport Mansions Tours

Step back in time to the Gilded Age at The Breakers (44 Ochre Point Ave) and Marble House (596 Bellevue Ave) and hear fascinating stories of the people who lived and worked in these grand summer palaces.

10:30am: Winterfest Storytime at Rosecliff, 548 Bellevue Ave, Newport

An annual tradition, WinterFest Story Time at the Newport Mansions is a celebration of the winter season! Families can listen to a winter-themed story, participate in craft projects and visit Rosecliff Mansion's historic ballroom. This program is geared toward participants ages 4 and older. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited so advance registration is necessary.

10:30am-3pm: Make Your Own Character Terrarium at Cutie Curls, 49 Long Wharf Mall, Newport

Come make a garden home for your favorite character. You will receive one figurine per terrarium Figurines available: Pokemon, Fairies, Dinosaurs, Dragons.and Unicorns. Supplies include plants, rocks, and clay.

11am, 1pm & 3pm: Guided Tours of Historic Fort Adams at Fort Adams State Park, 90 Fort Adams Drive, Newport, RI

Visit Historic Fort Adams, America's most complex coastal fortification. Guided tours take you to the top of the Forts ramparts for a spectacular view of Newport Harbor, then deep beneath the walls into the underground listening tunnels. Adults: $20, $5 off with bracelet.

12pm: Fire & Ice Mad Science Show at Newport Marriott

This spectacular show thrills audiences with impressive science experiments. The event includes foggy dry ice storms and demonstrates how giant beach balls can float in the air. We demonstrate fire's use of oxygen to pull an egg 'magically' into a flask! Students are amazed by sizzling, shivering scissors and special bubbly showers! $8 w/ Bracelet or $11 without.
