Learn how maple syrup and sugar are made - a delicious and fun way to make science come alive! Wissahickon Trails offers a special guided winter event that is ideal for families, scout groups, and anyone curious about the maple sugaring process. Guides will lead groups through the woods to see tapped maple trees and then follow the sap's journey as it is boiled and converted into the products we know and love. Tours are approximately 45 minutes and will end with hot chocolate and pancakes!

Ridge Valley Farm will be selling their PA made maple syrup and other maple flavored goodies on-site at the festival! Cash and credit card will be accepted. Thank you to Ridge Valley Farm for donating the maple syrup that will be served with the pancakes.
