Bring your family and celebrate Christmas at Lights on the Neuse. This down home Christmas Lights on the farm is located on Boyette Family Farms INC convenient to Clayton, Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Fuquay Varina, Garner, Middlesex, Holly Springs, Smithfield, Dunn and Benson NC.  This is not a drive thru light show, but an old fashion hayride to see our farm and Christmas lights throughout.

We are offering our hayride. We will have our concessions and cookie decorating station open as well.  Santa will not be here(He's needed at the North Pole), but his sleigh will be on hand for photos. Please bring your own camera as we will not be taking any photos with our equipment.  We are selling timed tickets online so please be sure to arrive on time! Want to purchase as a walkup instead of online, no worries! Tickets can be purchased at the farm during ticket booth hours.

A ticket is required for each customer; you cannot share tickets. 2 and under are free and don't require a ticket.

No Christmas Holiday experience is quite as fulfilling for a child as the opportunity to climb on board Santa's beautifully appointed sleigh. The Jolly Ole Elf himself will not be on hand, but you are welcome to climb on in the sleigh filled with Christmas bags and take photos.  

We encourage you to bring your own camera or phone to capture that special moment or to have a family photo.

Lights on the Neuse won't be taking any photos with our camera, feel free to bring your own.

Santa's Sweet Shoppe

Once you've experienced the heart warming Lights on the Neuse Old-fashioned Hayride, it's time to warm up the rest of you.

There's no better place to do just that than Santa's Sweet Shoppe. There's plenty of delicious, steaming hot chocolate, cider and coffee. There's also plenty of our famous Boyette Farms kettle corn to nibble.  We also offer hamburgers, hotdogs, doughnuts and s'more and more!

Christmas Hayride

Celebrate the magic of the Christmas season at Lights on the Neuse, a one-mile long, 30-minute old-time tractor-pulled hayride through a beautiful Lights Extravaganza, filled with Christmas music and holiday magic.

The Christmas hayride takes passengers to the banks of the Neuse River and back. Along the way several spectacular lighted holiday scenes, containing more than a million individual lights capture the special magic of Christmas and celebrate the true spirit of the season.

You'll be transported through Santa's Workshop, off to the farm for a “Down Home Christmas", and back to town for a “Christmas on the Square." You'll venture through “Candy Cane Lane," dancing Christmas Trees, and witness a spectacular representation of the “12 Days of Christmas." Before ending your old-fashioned hayride through our Christmas Lights adventure, the splendor of the beautiful "Country Church," the nostalgic “Farmyard" and lest you forget, the “Nativity Scene" and “Bible" will remind you of the reason for the Christmas season.

Sugar Barn
Cookie decorating station. Buy a gingerbread cookie to decorate it in the sugar barn.  Kits include cookie, decorations, icing then packaged to take home.  Each kit is 5.00  This activity will be offered for 2021.
