Lighted Boat Parade
The 21st Annual Mystic Holiday Lighted Boat Parade will take place on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
Following Santa arriving by tugboat and the lighting of the Mystic River Park Christmas tree, spectators flood both sides of the Mystic River to see the decorated and decked out boats pass by.
Decorated vessels will parade down the Mystic River just after 6pm and return to the Mystic River Park, where spectators and judges will be gathered. Boats will be judged on creativity and team spirit. There will be prizes for 'Most Charismatic Crew', 'Innovative Vessel', 'Best Dressed Vessel', 'Most Holiday Spirit' and 'Miss Mystic Vessel of Grandeur'.
