The dates for the screenings are January 29 - March 5. (Every Wednesday). All movies will be screened at the Wesleyan University Center for Film Studies, at the Jeanine Basinger Center for Film Studies in the Goldsmith Family Cinema, 301 Washington Terrace, Middletown, CT at 8pm.

Free Admission. On site parking.

The Festival is organized by Dalit Katz, University Professor of Jewish Studies and Director of the Center for Jewish Studies at Wesleyan University. It is sponsored by the Ring Family, the Center for Jewish Studies, and co-sponsored by the College of Film and the Moving Image.

A special screening followed by a QandA with co-director Guy Nattiv - Directed by: Guy Nattiv, 2023

Midway through the Judo World Championships, Iranian female judo fighter Leila and her coach Maryam receive and ultimatum from the Islamic Republic ordering Leila to fake an injury and lose, lest she be branded a traitor of the state. Leila is faced with an impossible choice: comply with the Iranian regime, or fight on, for the gold. Tatami is the groundbreaking first feature to be co-directed by an Iranian and Israeli filmmaker.
