Join us on the second Friday of each month for our new International Movie Night program to enjoy a fascinating film from another country! Our Jan 10th feature will be the acclaimed 2015 Swedish comedy-drama A Man Called Ove (PG-13). Based on the bestselling novel by Fredrik Backman, this movie, which inspired a 2022 American remake, tells the story of Ove (Rolf Lassgård), the quintessential angry old man next door. An isolated retiree who spends his days enforcing banal rules and visiting his wife’s grave, Ove has given up on life. After a boisterous young family moves in next door and accidentally flattens his mailbox, an unlikely friendship forms, and Ove finds himself with a new reason to live.
