2024 Show Featuring : Karen Mal and David Stoddard

Celebrate the season with Northern Sky fan favorite Karen Mal and her longtime music and writing partner, David Stoddard, as they dazzle us with their delightful mix of gorgeous vocal harmonies, tender and humorous songs, and an array of instruments.

Originally from Green Bay, David met Karen at a music festival in Texas, and they’ve been touring and writing together for 20 years. Stoddard is a songwriter/composer who’s been performing across the Midwest and North America for more than a generation. His songs are both engaging and funny, and he’s won a number of major songwriting awards across the country. His performances are notable for being filled with stories, songs, and a deep connection with his audience.

Their performances are a delightful mix of gorgeous vocal harmonies, tender and humorous songs, and an array of instruments, including guitar, piano, mandolin, and accordion.

With a shared love for acoustic traditional music, you can expect to hear some familiar favorites along with some original songs, and some spoken vignettes about the winter holiday season, past and present, including reflections on the special “in-between-the-holidays” time leading up to the New Year.

Early evening performances of Home for the Holidays are scheduled. Tickets are $32 for adults and $20 for students and $15 age 12 and under. All seats are reserved.
