Katotohanan follows the journey of C.J. and Myka Salvador, two sisters from a powerful political family in the Philippines. While their mother, Mayor Ricalene Salvador, leads a corrupt regime that displaces Lumad communities for gain, C.J. remains loyal to her family’s legacy. On the other hand, Myka, inspired by their tutor, Elena Anglao, becomes increasingly vocal about the injustices the Indigenous community faces. Elena, not only their tutor but also an educator and advocate for the Lumad people, becomes a guiding force for both sisters. However, when Elena mysteriously disappears, Myka’s determination to expose the truth intensifies, causing a rift between her and C.J. As Myka goes missing shortly after, C.J. is forced to confront her own role in supporting her family’s actions and begins to question her loyalty to them. In her search for Myka, C.J. forms an unexpected bond with Davao, Gello, and Junjun, who help her understand the full scope of the resistance against her mother’s regime. As C.J. grapples with the truth, she faces a difficult decision—protect her parents or fight for justice alongside her sister.
