She enjoys cultivating plants for pollinators and rearing Lepidoptera. She also greets visitors at the Nature Center front desk several days a week.

Collecting and Saving Native Plant Seeds

In this final workshop, we’ll learn techniques for collecting and saving native plant seeds from the Nature Center’s gardens. We’ll discuss the ecological benefits of these plants and the importance of preserving native flora for local wildlife. You will take home seeds such as joe pye weed and milkweed to cultivate in your own garden!
