The 2025 edition of the GREAT Steak Cook-off is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 22 at the Bay City Civic Center, located at 201 7th Street. The competition will begin at 4:00 p.m., with teams of four cooks grilling steaks to be judged by a panel of esteemed judges. The top team will receive the revered GREAT Steak Cook-off Traveling Trophy and earn year-long bragging rights. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample the steaks cooked by the teams and enjoy locally prepared side dishes. Additionally, there will be a live auction and other prize-winning chances featuring incredible items donated by our community members.
