The beautiful, historic city of Auburn has been hosting a rodeo for more than 90 years. We are thrilled to continue this tradition and add another performance, growing the rodeo to three days! This year will feature a nighttime rodeo on Friday, and regular performances on Saturday and Sunday.

The Rosser family of Flying U Rodeo Company proudly produces the Gold Country Pro Rodeo. The rodeo is held at the Gold Country Fairgrounds in Auburn, California in the McCann Stadium.

We kick off The Gold Country Pro Rodeo Celebration At 6pm On Thursday with The Dummy Roping Contest, Food Trucks, and more— the official rodeo parties featuring live entertainment start Friday night after the rodeo.

The rodeo is fun for all ages and is held rain or shine! You don’t want to miss the thrilling excitement of professional bull riding, bronc riding, barrel racing, the Flying U Rodeo Cowboys, and much more! So bring your family and friends and have some fun!

First Responder Day, Tough Enough to Wear Pink Day

Rodeo gates open at 11:30 AM

Rodeo starts at 2 PM

ALL FIRST RESPONDERS GET IN FREE. Thank you for your service! You must show your first responder ID (Medical badge, Military ID, etc.) at the gate. Tickets are limited. When securing your First Responder tickets, be sure to purchase additional tickets for your entire party to ensure all can attend. Please come early. The rodeo sells out in advance online every year, so PLEASE purchase your family tickets as soon as possible. 

IMPORTANT: Do not forget your current first responder ID when attending the rodeo. You will not be admitted without it.
