The Mattatuck Museum invites the community to Family Fun Day, from 1 PM – 5 PM, a free event celebrating the joys of art, history, and springtime fun. Families can enjoy games, crafts, and interactive activities while exploring the museum’s two exciting new exhibitions: The Art of Leisure and The Art of Elizabeth Catlett: From the Collection of Samella Lewis. Opening remarks will take place at 1 pm. Families, art lovers, and history enthusiasts alike are invited to experience this special celebration. Explore two world-class exhibitions, take part in engaging activities, and enjoy a day of creativity and discovery—all free of charge!

This Spring Family Fun Day is packed with hands-on activities and outdoor games to welcome the spring season. Visitors can hop into a scavenger hunt, try their hand at an egg toss, decorate wooden eggs, create colorful suncatchers, and more! The event is free for all, thanks to the generous support of the Access for All Initiative by the Art Bridges Foundation.
