Arts Bonita is proud to host “Dreams to Wings”, a juried art exhibition of works by artists from the Fort Myers Beach Art Association (FMBAA).

The FMBAA non-profit art gallery has operated out of Fort Myers Beach for over 70 years, hosting classes, plein air painting group events, and exhibitions. Recently, the FMBAA gallery was destroyed by Hurricane Ian, a storm that devastated much of the Southwest Florida coastal region. But these artists have persevered, still participating in events hosting by various art centers and hosting plein air groups across Lee and Collier Counties.

We are pleased to offer our unique gallery space at the Hinman Gallery-in-the-Round to the FMBAA in order to showcase the talented artists that have dedicated themselves to their mission. “Dreams to Wings” promises to be a beautiful and prolific collection of artwork, and awards for the best pieces in the exhibition will be presented at the opening reception on November 21st.

This event will also serve to highlight their Phoenix Rebuilding Fund, a fundraiser that will serve to help rebuild the Fort Myers Beach Art Association Gallery. Through the generosity of donors and art patrons, we hope that showcasing this art exhibition at Arts Bonita will help contribute to their cause.
