For over twenty years, this troupe of slightly mad, but well-educated, swords-people have brought knowledge and fun to audiences across the East Coast. Learn about the history of Weaponry and see valiant battles throughout the day!

The Foxy Bard & Twig:
Singers & Poets

The Foxy Bard and Twig are a musical duo that create a unique blend of Renaissance music, folk, and world music. They are versatile musicians, multi-instrumentalists, and masters of improvised comedy. They perform nationally from coast to coast and are known for their onstage presence and ability to crank the energy up to 100%.

Keith Engle:
Fiddler

Keith Engle bought an inexpensive fiddle on a whim one evening, and started taking violin lessons... and completely failed to catch the classical music bug. But soon afterwards he attended a Celtic festival where he got his first real exposure to live Irish music, and discovered something he had been searching for his whole life without even knowing it. He focuses exclusively on the style of Irish music unique to the Sliabh Luachra region, and frequently travels to Ireland to learn and perform.

We use our comedy sword fighting show as a vehicle to help remind our audience that they are amazing.  We are energy, we are love, we are funny, we are entertainment! We are the Lords of Adventure!

Taliesin Phoenix:
Storyteller

Taliesin Phoenix is a bard, seanchaí, bearer of the seven colors: Storyteller. He has collected the great myths and epic poems from across the lands and through all of time brings them here to reveal the lessons, laughs and lyrics that guide the wise in every age. Join him to light the flame and see the StoryPhoenix rise from the ashes again.

Kristin Rebecca:
Harpist & Vocalist

Kristin's beautiful harp playing is matched by her angelic voice. You can hear her performing music that ranges from dance worthy jigs and reels to haunting ballads.

Linwe:
Silk & Sword Belly Dance

Sultry veil and scintillating swords!

Linwe is a Pennsylvania based belly dancer with a background in fusion and cabaret styles. With dramatic swords, dancing flames, and a side of sass, she will delight all ages.

Thom Fuewellrey:
Wandering Comedic Bard

A half Half-Elf, half Half-Dwarf Bard, Thom Fuewellery is a “classically-trained” purveyor of the Bardic arts, hailing from a time and place so distant that even he can’t quite recall it. With a voice as rich as dwarven ale and a wit sharper than most grocery store-brand cheeses, Thom roams the lands, spreading joy through songs, shenanigans, and a touch of mischief.

Halloweekend:

Halloween at Delafaire! Trick or Treating for kids and fun for everyone!

Pumpkin Contest:

Unleash your inner renaissance artiste with a carved or painted pumpkin in our Jack-O-Lantern contest!

Armored Combat Worldwide:

Armored combat live! See them battle it out and cheer for your hero!

Vancier Magibleu's Conundrum:

Vancier Magibleu has a condundrum! Do you choose to take on this Faire-wide scavenger hunt? He needs you to join this quest!

The King's Dungeon:

Walk through our interactive exhibit of medieval torture!  See the way things were in the torture chambers and dungeons of the medieval times. Guaranteed to give you some bad ideas!!

Vadim The Rose Peddler:

Find our punny peddler selling "pretty on a stick" throughout Delafaire each day. Buy a rose for your beloved, and get thee a joke or three at the same time!

A CRACKIN' good time! Learn to crack a whip from a pro, and perhaps pick up a whip of your own!

Forged in the fire, Bucky the Blacksmith can show you how blacksmithing works and teach you how smiths have created for thousands of years!

Pottery Demonstrations:

See Master Potter Mark "Wolf" Scira, create his pottery, bracelets, and other fine wares for the not so mundane.

Renaissance & Medieval Dance:

As Mistress Taylor says, “if you can walk and you can clap, then you can dance,” so let’s dance, laugh, and celebrate together in the spirit of the past!
