Dance for World Community Festival celebrates the rich diversity of Greater Boston’s dance communities and their valued contributions to the area’s cultural and economic vitality. The annual event boldly demonstrates the unifying power of dance, in all its forms, to bring together in a purposeful way people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.

The free, public, all-day festival is produced in collaboration with local government, businesses, cultural agencies and social service/advocacy non-profits. Dance performances and classes from over 60 local dance companies will take place across outdoor and indoor stages along the street and JMBT studios. Over 20 social justice organizations and non-profits will also be present to raise awareness about important social and environmental issues in our community. Local businesses, artist, and food vendors will also be present along festival grounds.
