Aeschylus' trilogy about the end of the curse on the House of Atreus, The Oresteia comprises Agamemnon, Choephori (Libation-Bearers) and Eumenides (The Gracious Ones).
Since 1971, the Classical Greek Theatre Festival has brought ancient drama to modern audiences along the Wasatch front and across the West. This production of The Oresteia features Westminster Students alongside CGTF veterans Dr. Richard Scharine and Barbara Smith.
Working with translator Marianne McDonald, Director & Adapter Emilio Casillas has distilled this trilogy into a 90-minute production.
