The City of Charleston invites you to apply to participate in the Holiday Parade on Saturday, December 7th. We welcome local schools, community groups, and regional businesses to safely demonstrate their holiday spirit through their own holiday theme. By completing this application, you will be expressing your interest to participate in this year's parade. Completing an application to participate in the parade does not guarantee selection.

The deadline for application is 5:00 PM on November 4th, 2024. Selected participants will be notified of their approved application and receive parade information packets after this deadline. Each application will be screened on a competitive basis with preference given to:

- participants from the Charleston Metro Area
- community groups
- musical entertainment (including marching bands)
- entries with a strong holiday theme

The parade will start promptly at 3:00 PM on December 7th. Parade officials may cancel the parade, at their discretion, due to severe weather or any other emergencies at the time of the event.
