The final installment of this season’s Siciliano Salon Series celebrates some of French composer Maurice Ravel’s greatest works of chamber music in honor of his 150th Anniversary! Pianist Julia Siciliano and violinist Liana Gourdjia met in the Basque country, living in a city only 20 miles from Ravel’s place of birth. It is only fitting that they share a performance together of his music, which captures the rich basque landscape and culture that they experienced while living in that region.
