Join us for the Carolina's Ugly Sweater 5K and 1K Elf Run on December 8th... the best way to prepare for Christmas!  Walkers, strollers and pets are all welcome to participate in the 5k!!  

Get to the event early and bring your cameras!!  Take pics with Santa, Mickey Mouse and special guest the Grinch!!  Just in as well.... Chubby from the Checkers will be attending and so will Homer from the Charlotte Knights!!!  This year each participant will receive a coupon from Joe for a FREE chicken sandwich from Chick-fil-A!!  Yes, you read that right!!  Also, each participant over the age of 21 will receive a beer, seltzer or a glass of wine after crossing the finish line.  

This festive 5K and 1K Elf Run will start and finish in Jetton Village by Penny Lane formally known as Cornelius Drafthouse.  Start time for the 5k is 230.  The Kid's 1K Elf Run will start at 3:30 p.m. It is recommended for 10 and under. Awards will be presented after the 1K around 345.

Participants will have the option to purchase an Ugly Sweater t-shirt (softest in the Carolinas) for $12.00 (adults) or $10.00 (youth)!  Also, there will be a prize for best overall costume.  Trophies will be given to top 3 male and female finishers and a trophy will be given to our first participant to cross pushing a stroller.

This event will be so much fun for the entire family!! In addition, this is our nonprofit's biggest event of the year to raise money to get kiddos here in the area into sports who otherwise would not have the opportunity.  Our goal in 2025 is to get 250 kids involved.  That is roughly $50,000.00 in generated revenue so please make a donation and tell your friends and family to join us!!  They can walk so there's no excuse!!

There will be a photographer and videographer at the event.  By registering you agree to release any photos and video for public view.  In addition, there will be one text sent to you about the event the coming year.
