The 2025 Captain Zinn Memorial 5K Run and Racewalk will occur Sunday, April 13rd, at Dorbrook Park in Colts Neck, N.J. Dorbrook Park is located at 353 County Road 537, Colts Neck, N.J. Bib and T-shirt pick-up will be right by the playground. 

Advance registration is 50% off for all veterans and military personnel.

This event honors all Vietnam Veterans and is named in memory of Captain Ronald Lloyd "Ron" Zinn, a racewalker from the United States who was killed in Vietnam in 1965. He graduated from the US Military Academy in 1962 and represented the USA at the 1960 (Rome) and 1964 (Tokyo) Summer Olympics. He placed 6th in the 20K race walk in 1964. Shore AC has held this race to remember Captain Zinn since 1966. The day features a 5K Racewalk & walk at 10:00 am 5K Run at 10:05 am, and a kids fun run at 9:30 AM. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
