Our Annual Nurses & Support Staff Week run/walk event encourages participants to get moving, while providing support for our patient care team members. The 5K run/1K walk event is a fun, energetic way for caregivers, their families, friends, and the community show support and appreciation for one another. All proceeds benefit the Nursing Scholarship Fund through the Baystate Health Foundation supporting nursing professional development opportunities including scholarships, education, and research.

Registration check-in will be at the employee plaza in front of the Springfield building entrance. Runners and walkers will begin at 9:00am. The race will start on Pratt Street and finish on Chestnut Street right in front of the Springfield building entrance (just opposite of Pratt Street). The course will take you up Chapin Terrace, through Van Horn Park and back- there will be signs and volunteers along the course to help direct participants. Light refreshments will be available. Finisher medals will be awarded for first, second and third place 5K finishers! This is a family friendly event, children of all ages are welcome to come and join in on the fun.
