9:45 AM: 44th Annual Walter Hunt 4th of July 3K Road Race

Maine's Fastest Road Race! Come be part of this fast, exciting race just before the 4th of July parade!

10:00 AM: Parade

A map of the parade route can be found below. Following the parade, food trucks on the waterfront will be available beginning at 1pm

Parade Route

The parade will line up on Acme Rd in Brewer and enter onto Wilson St to begin. The parade will continue onto Main St in Bangor, wrapping up on Exhange St. 

You can find the bandstand with the announcers at Main and State St, downtown.

5:30 PM: Concert

The concert stage will be located on the Bangor Waterfront promenade near the corner of Railroad St and Front St.  The Chords For Cure Concert events raise funds for children with cancer in our area. Last year this event raised over $8k for our kids in Brewer!!  This year we have two phenomenal bands playing... Marionette and The Stone Doctors!

Beautiful fireworks display over the Penobscot River.
